China is now capable of moving over 100,000 troops from one war zone to another hundreds of miles apart within half of a day, according to China’s official newspaper the People’s Daily. With the rapid rise of China’s military power, the PLA is facing tough task of strategic lift power to transport its large number of combat troops and heavy weapons systems from one war zone to another.
