Bill Gates partnering with Chinese nuclear weapons proliferator

The Tianwan nuclear power station, built by China National Nuclear Corporation in Jiangsu province, went online in 2007.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates last week said he was holding talks with China to jointly develop a new and safer kind of nuclear reactor. However, the key partner in the venture is the China National Nuclear Corporation, the state-run nuclear agency that U.S. officials say illegally provided nuclear weapons technology to Pakistan.

“The idea is to be very low cost, very safe and generate very little waste,” Gates said in China at the Ministry of Science and Technology.
