With 1,453 fighter jets, China’s People’s Liberation Army’s Air Force is the world’s fastest growing and second most powerful air power, ahead of Russia, India, North Korea, Egypt and Taiwan, according to a recent survey. The U.S. is still holds the world’s largest air power, with 2,740 fighters, said the report published by the London-based professional journal, Flight International.
