For several years in a row, China has had the worst reputation among the nations near its borders, a government-controlled think tank acknowledged. The worst reviews of China as a state come from Japan, India and South Korea, according to the 2014 Asia/Pacific Blue Paper, an official annual report issued by the Institute of Asia-Pacific and Global Strategy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
