Japan successfully launched a highly-sophisticated three-stage Epsilon rocket into space from the Uchinoura Space Center in Kagoshima, Kyushu on Sept. 14. The launch not only marked a milestone in Japan’s space program, but also possibly broke ground for Japan to easily develop its ICBMs should the national security situation environment change.
