N. Korean report, U.S. intel points to new missile tests, development of mobile ICBM

N. Korea’s No-Dong missile, above, is a predecessor to the Taepodong-2 long-range ballistic missile Pyongyang may test-fire again.

North Korea published a report on Nov. 28 outlining the regime’s rationale for testing ballistic missiles, an indication that Pyongyang may be planning to resume destabilizing missile tests.

However, the Korean Central News Agency claimed that earlier flight tests of prototype long-range missiles were part of a program to develop satellites.
