Reports of public executions, new crackdown tied to lurid gossip about Kim Jong Un’s wife

SEOUL — North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has directed his security agencies to conduct new crackdowns on “anti-state” and “anti-Party” activities and confiscate electronic devices smuggled from China that contains South Korean dramas and entertainment shows, sources here said. Kim’s order is thought to be connected to reports of another public execution in North Korea.
