South Korea decides to hold its own military parade to showcase its ballistic missile

The Seoul government has announced it will hold the largest military parade since 2003 on Oct. 1 to mark the nation’s military holiday. The parade will involve more than 10,000 troops, close to 200 military armored vehicles and over 120 combat aircraft. Military parades are a hallmark of North Korea’s intimidation and self-congratulation psychosis and the South has rarely endeavored to match Pyongyang’s parades.
